MANIFESTO is an 8-hour limited series produced by Lionsgate for the Discovery Channel, created by "Blacklist" topper Andrew Sodroski.
It's the true story of Jim "Fitz" Fitzgerald, the FBI profiler and self-taught linguist who brought down the most brilliant serial killer in American history, the Unabomber. Fitz invented a whole new field of crime-solving - forensic linguistics - and fought through the bureaucracy behind the largest manhunt in U.S. history to identify and capture Ted Kaczynski. But when Fitz began to identify with the Unabomber, his growing obsession soon consumed his entire life. Fitz lost his family, career, everything - until, in the end, the only person who could understand what he'd been through was the Unabomber himself.
